I couldn't find anything that would explain my dilemma - which ''part'' of a name is the head in a noun phrase? For example:
My friend, Jenny Smith, who likes flowers, is doing sth ...
I figured Jenny Smith must be the head of the whole nominal phrase (My ... flowers), but is the head actually Jenny or Smith?
