I think you're really right, Sophie. I could talk to you in your first language, Dutch, but I don't because then I will enclude everybody from our conversation and I think that's not nice. And there is the fact of practising more English.

Our Other Languages folder is where you can chat in any language you like, whether that's to ask for help or simply to make friends. ;-)

The word include means to invite others in. The word exclude means to keep others out.

Say: "why did you say?" or "why did you mention?" (with the first preferable, because it is direct speech).
