hi, I'm new here too.

I think it's very nice that there's a site like this. Everyone can practise their English, so you don't have to be ashamed about your mistakes.

I think you're really right, Sophie. I could talk to you in your first language, Dutch, but I don't because then I will enclude everybody from our conversation and I think that's not nice. And there is the fact of practising more English.

Yes, I think it is exclude. (I think Red does have a folder entitled Other Languages.)

You're going to have to choose. :wink:

The word include means to invite others in. The word exclude means to keep others out.

Say: "why did you say?" or "why did you mention?" (with the first preferable, because it is direct speech).

I think you have found that folder. :)
