I need to finish this work here for my course..I don't get it actual

We need to change the sentences, we should use the passive of the verbs.


a) Someone trained him specially to do this work.
He was specially trained to do this work.

b) They pay him £ 5 an hour.
He gets paid £ 5 an hour.

c) They provide the tools and equipment for the job.

d) You can negotiable working hours.

e) They expect you to be punctual and polite to customers.

f) You must take (your) annual leave in the summer months.


I began to fill it out but even i recognized it that it sounds wrong..
Can anybody help me

HI thank s for youre correction..but i don't get it what they mean with 'change it to the passiv form'...the first two where only luck that they were correct.

Taking the third sentence:

They provide the tools and equipment for the job

In the passive it will be: Tools and equipment are provided for the job.

If you look carefully, you will see that what was the object in the source sentence becomes the subject in the passive sentence ;-)
