"Being" is the present participle and gerund of the verb "to be".
It is used as in the sentences in the above post.

Perhaps it would be useful for you to post some sentences in which you don't understand the use of 'being'. Or, better still, you could make up some of your own sentences with 'being', and check whether they are right.
