If I understand your post correctly, you should not use a pronoun following the noun to which it refers in the same sentence. For example, "John he is always late for class" is not correct.

If I understand you correctly, the answer is yes.

For example:

'Meet my sister. She lives in Burnley'.

'After he had been waiting for half an hour, Rupert gave up and went home.'

Is that what you mean?
