hi i dont know with whom im connecting wiyh but i need your help urgently.im a student in a universty and have a assingment which goes in details in english language.by the way im in Turkey,im asking for a research about english junk, slang,and formal language, some examples about them,what differences there are,why they existed,and the changes in them.

I think you need to work on your punctuation some. ;-)

A slang expression is one that is not accepted by everybody or in all situations. Slang expressions also tend to be of short duration. In formal usage we use what is called standard English.

Perhaps somebody will post some examples of one or the other.
