Hi, I'm from one of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines.
I was just surfing the net, and accidentally found this very interesting online forum.
I feel that i really should visit this site often to brush up my English.
I'm already 20+, working as an accountant, and i feel that my English skills sucks big time!
I mean, here in the Philippines, most working adults of my age can speak English with fluency and right accentuation. They can write adeptly just like the Native Americans. And it is a Mortal Sin if you have poor grammar and rhetorics. I don't want to be condemned! :(

More power to the admin of this forum!

to the teachers: please correct and/or rephrase my writings.

Hi, welcome to the forum. As you're an advanced user, I'm not going to make changes, but I would suggest doing something with 'already' in your post. ;-)

I think you are doing fine, but I would say brush up on instead of brush up.

Welcome to the forum!

'Already' has some relationshipto something else, but you used it the first time you spoke to us, so there was no reference, so your age is no surprise and has no contrast to anything. I'm 41, so you're probably 'only' 20+- it doesn't seem old to me. Now we have met, it will start to make sense. ;-)
