Hello ,

What's the difference between:

"To hear of" and "to hear about" are nearly synonymous - information about something has been received.

I heard of a really good new restaurant yesterday

I heard about a really good new restaurant yesterday

"To hear from" means someone has told you something.

I heard from Joey that there is a really good new restaurant in the town.
