What exactly does "line" in the above refer to? Thanks.

But I have still have two questions. First, are 'fashion line" and "clothing line" identical in meaning?
Second, is it identical to say "a series of clothes and accessories" instead of the bolded part in your reply?

"clothing line" is more restrictive to clothes; "fashion line" indicates both clothes and accessories.

I don't think you can use "series" instead of "range". They are not interchangeable.

But I don't get it though. Why doesn't "series" work? I think we use "series" in our language.

Range = a set of different things of the same general type
