Welcome to the forums.

"angle" is pronounced "ang-l".

"angel" is pronounced "ayn-jell".

Which word is it that is giving you trouble?

No - there are two different words. Look at the spellings.

Angle = the space (usually measured in degrees) between two intersecting lines or surfaces at or close to the point where they meet.

angle - Google Image Search

Angel = a spiritual being believed to act as an attendant or messenger of God, conventionally represented as being of human form with wings.

Hi, twin*MD*soul!

No, you are confusing the meaning and pronunciation of 2 different words.

'angle' is spelled a-n-g-l-e. 'The student used a protractor to measure the angle.' "angle" is pronounced "ang-l".

'angel' is spelled a-n-g-e-l. 'The angel lives in heaven.' "angel" is pronounced "ayn-jell".

Glad we could be of help to you, *MD*! We like English very much, too! ;-)

P.S. A friendly reminder: 'alot' is actually spelled as two words: a lot 'I forgot a lot of words.' :)

*MD*,

I would enjoy learning Arabic!

Please allow me to make another friendly 'correction': If you 'really want to learn this language and speak it very well', you need to forget all of the lazy words that are found in online chat sessions! No more 'U' for 'you'!

*MD*,

I think I understand what you are asking, 'in here is it correct ? I mean in this way' The simple answer is 'No!' It is not 'correct' to be lazy!

If you want the members of the forum to take you seriously, you will need to make a serious effort to use standard English in your sentences. The responses you receive from the native English speakers will reflect the effort that you are willing to put into your questions and comments! As they say in computer language, "Garbage in...garbage out!" We expect quality in...and we will provide quality out!

What would you think of a teacher/mentor who said the following to you: 'Yo, MD dude! Howya doin with UR english lessins cuz i'm rofl with mine'

I look forward to seeing you in the forum!
