For example
May I come in?
Sure.
Certanily.
Ofcourse.
But how do I say If I don't want you to come in?
For example
May I come in?
Sure.
[STRIKE]Certanily[/STRIKE]. Certainly. (Spelling)
[STRIKE]Ofcourse[/STRIKE]. Of course. (This is two words, not one)
But [STRIKE]how[/STRIKE] what do I say [STRIKE]If[/STRIKE] if I don't want you to come in?
MikeNY has given you several great responses if you don't want the person to come in. You missed a couple of responses if you do want them to come in.
Yes.
Yes, you may.
Note my corrections to your post in red. Note that your title should be "How do I respond to ...?" "Response" is a noun. "To respond" is the verb.
That's not very natural, but "Yes, please do" works.
Thank you.
Do you mean 'Yes, you may.' by "that"?
Or...?
