Is this something said after you finally contact the person, JC?

I've been trying to reach you, but ...
I'm trying to reach {name}, but ...

no luck/no such luck/I'm not having any luck/ I'm SOL/I'm shit outta luck/no go

thanks for the interest.
i am trying to contact the person by phone but nobody answers my calls.
it seems that there's nobody at home.
my doubt is about "... i am having no success".
is it a good sentence?
how would a native say it?
thanks

"I am having no success" is just jim-dandy, JC. The ones I gave are alternates, more casual, everyday language, though I'm not trying to say that yours isn't everyday stuff too.

Also,

I'm not having any success/I'm having little success
