How do we address pictures arranged in a table?

Hi there.

Imagine some pictures are arranged in this way:

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

I think we use expressions like in the picture in the top right corner for No. 3 or in the picture in the bottom left corner for No. 7; but how do we address No. 2, 4, 6, and 8?

Please let me know if I'm mistaken about the corner sides as well.

2. The picture in the middle (or centre) of the top row.
4. ..on the left of the middle row.
6. ..on the right of the middle row.
8. ..in the middle (or centre) of the bottom row.

If there were more than 3 rows and columns, and you wished to indicate picture No 6, then you would say something like, " The picture third from the left, on the second row from the top".

You are correct about the corners.
