How to be Prepared to IELTS exam

Hello every body

I just wanted some advice on how to prepare for an IELTS test.
I did one two years ago and at that time I felt I wasn't ready .
Now , I can see how much progress I have made in learning the language, but the thing is, I feel not ready, I know I have learned alot, but I can't measure it,
any ideas!!??
