How to rephrase?

Hello, I am a Spanish student and I am studying English. In an exercise I have to do a rephrase using modals:

I saw Julie yersterday. Her hair was pink. (must)

I think that something is wrong because I would rephrase it with a relative clause, I don't know how to rephrase it with "must". Can you help me?

Yes it's strange. I suppose you could change it like this -

The girl I saw yesterday must have been Julie because her hair was pink.

or

I saw Julie yesterday and she must have been to the hairdresser's because her hair was pink!

I have to say though it is unlikely that this is what your teacher wants.

I think it can be a mistake because it may be more appropriate to rephrase it without a modal verb, for example, with a relative clause, but I really don't know.
