Circumcision is the removal of the foreskin from the penis of a male baby shortly after birth.

This procedure was a religious rite before it became a standard medical procedure. In many Christian churches, January 1st is the day of the Circumcision.

I am also a Christian, but I didn't know about it, really!

However, it's very interesting. Now I know.
