hi, last month I took the TOEFL IBT exam to pass my english class, and my toefl result is 78,, if I had 79, I would be able to pass. My question is; I would like to write an e-mail in a formal way to ETS to ask if they re-analyze my exam and give me extra 1 point, I don't know how to write this in a formal and appropriate way?

You need to try to write your letter first. Then someone can review it.

Consider that this was a test of your English ability, so a short message should be within your ability.
