Which one is correct?
1. I am also one of the member to join xyz group.
2. I am also one of the other member to join xyz group.
Should I add "a" before xyz group?

Neither is correct.

I am a member of the Women's Institute.
I am also a member of the Boys' Brigade.

(I get some funny looks in this town.:-?)

Should I add an article before 'the XYZ'?
It depends on the name of the group/organisation. I take it your group is not actually called 'XYZ'.

I added 'the' before the two organisations I named in my reply, but I wouldn't have if I'd said 'I'm a member of Greenpeace and Amnesty International'.

When should and shouldn't I add "the" before an organization?

If the official name of the organisation includes the word "The", you need to include it.

"The Women's Institute" is the official name so you would say "I have joined The Women's Institute".
"Greenpeace" is the official name so you would say "I have joined Greenpeace".
