Are you eating fewer meals, or are you eating a smaller volume of food? Also, you need "lose" not "loose".

It might be better to just say you are eating less.

For that sentence, I'd use "cutting down on."

Teechar gave you two options:

Are you eating fewer meals?
or
Are you eating a smaller volume of food?

You can't answer "Yes" to that, as you did in post #5. We want to know which one you mean.

"I am cutting down on my meals" could mean "I have stopped eating four meals a day and now I eat only three" or "I still eat four meals a day but there is less food on my plate at each meal".

I'd say either "I'm cutting down on the amount of food I eat" or "I'm eating smaller meals".
