I do play golf...
Could you tell me when I must use this form?
How can I translate it in Italian?
Thank you.

**Neither a teacher nor a native speaker.**

Example:
You play golf but your friends don't know it.
Then your friends talk about golf and you say something as well.
A guy says:
"What do you know? You don't even play golf."
You answer:
"I do play golf."
So you just emphasize the fact that you play golf.
It's similar to:
"Of course I play golf." -> Maybe you could use this for Italian.

I hope I could help you.

Cheers!
