Hi all,

Thanks a lot for helping at all time.

I'm not sure about constructing some sentences such as:

"I filed the table smooth."

Is it possible to write it such "I filed the table to be smooth"

or like this "I wiped my computer to be clean" or "I wiped my computer clean"
or "I pulled the window to be open." or "I pulled the window open."

Thanks in advance.

"I wiped my computer clean" and "I pulled the window open" are both OK.
With your example about the table, are you talking about using a piece of carpentry equipment?
