Hello everyone,

In my book is a sentence which I have to complete with and, so, or but.

She can speak French, _________ she can't write it.

I wrote:
She can speak French, but she can't write it.

My books' answer is:
She can speak French, and she can't write it.

In my oppinion is "and" wrong in this sentence, isn't it

Kind regards,
Dany
