Hi guys,

I need your help, I have to pass an English writing test for my work and since I don't usually write in English I was wondering if someone would be so kind and read my text and then tell me how good or how bad it is, it's about the movie Click. I live in Quebec and I am a new teacher. In my field of work, I can teach English as a second language in six grade. I already did the interview in English, but now all that's left to do is writing a text in English and I know i can, i just want to be sure it is okay, since it's been a long time.

Here it goes.

The last movie I watched was Click with Adam Sandler. It was actually my third time. Each time I absolutely loved that movie. I think Adam Sandler is a really good actor and he has, in the past, made me laugh a lot. I loved seeing him in a movie where he does not only make us laugh. On the contrary, I did surprisingly cry a lot and that on the three times I did watched it. The movie brings out a good moral. Showing us how we usually take time for the wrong things and most of all, things that in the end, does not weight much in the balance. In this movie, Adam Sandler is Michael ..., father of 2, he works long hours and which for an promotion that does not come fast enough. After working hard for a project he thought would bring him to his promotion, he then learned that he would have to work much harder for it, and while doing so cancelling a camping trip with his children. On a very hard night, he storm out of the house in search of a universal remote that would make his life much easier. He was tired of always choosing the wrong remote for each of the stuff he was trying to use. (tv, garage door, lights, etc.)
That’s when he got in front of the shop Bed, bad and beyond and was presented to Morty, a salesman who gave him a universal remote made just for him.

He then learned that this remote could make his life easier and act on his real life. At this point, he starts using the remote on things he feels he should not do anymore, things like showering, arguing, being kept in the traffic and working hard trying to get is promotion. At first, he thought that this fast forwarding would last only for a little while and bringing him closer to his goal as being partner in the firm he works in. He then realise that his boss waited a long time before finally giving him this promotion and that he is missing lots of stuffs happening in his life. Most of all, the remote starts on its own to auto fast forward stuffs Michael fast forwarded once. Each time he was fast forwarding something, he became like an automate, on autopilot, bringing him further in life and less present as the remote continues to auto fast forward his life till a greater promotion.

You then see what Michael plans to do to get himself through this life he does not like very much.

In retrospective, I really liked that movie. I appreciated the fact that you get to laugh a lot and then cry a lot. I would even give a good high five to Adam Standler for is great performance.

Voilà !!!

so what do you think ? Will I pass that test or not ?

Thank you so much !

The last movie I watched was Click , starring Adam Sandler. I have seen it three times and each time I absolutely love it more. I think Adam Sandler is a really good actor and he has, in the past, made me laugh a lot. I loved seeing him in a movie where he not only makes me laugh, but brings out other emotions. I did cry a lot, surprisingly, and that happened at all three times I watched it.

The movie has a good moral. The movie did a great job showing us how we usually take time for the wrong things in life and, most of all, that things in the end do not have much weight in the balance.

In this movie, Adam Sandler is Michael ..., father of 2. He works long hours and hopes for a promotion that does not come fast enough. After working hard for a project he thought would bring him a promotion, he then learns that he must work much harder for it. He is forced to cancel a camping trip with his children.

On a very emotional night, he storms out of the house in search of a universal remote that would make his life much easier. He was tired of always choosing the wrong remote to use for the tv, garage door, or lights. Then he finds himself in front of the large shop "Bed, Bath and Beyond" and is introduced to Morty, a salesman who gives him a magical universal remote made just for him.

He then learns that this remote could make things easier for him and can be used to deal with real life issues. At this point, he starts using the remote to delete and fast forward events such as showering, arguing, being kept in the traffic and working hard trying to get his promotion. At first, he thought that this fast forwarding would last only for a little while and would bring him closer to his work goal of being a partner in the firm. He then realises that his boss plans to wait a long time before finally giving him this promotion and, meanwhile, he is missing much in his life. Most of all, the remote starts on its own to auto fast forward the same events that Michael fast forwarded once. Each time he was fast forwarding, he became like on autopilot, bringing him further forward in life and less in the present. The moviegoer gets to see what Michael plans to do to get himself through his life that he does not like very much.

I really liked that movie because of its good message. I appreciated that I got to laugh a lot and then cry a lot during the same movie. I would even give a good high-five to Adam Standler for his great performance.
