I paid $29 US today and I have finally took the Accuplacer Test (TASP) and I failed Reading by two points and English including sentence structure. I passed Math with a high score so no worries in Math. But the reason I post this is to seek for help. I was wondering if any one know any websites that let me take practice testes, like Reading, sentence structure, and writing. All the subject that I failed.

Say:
  • I like how you corrected my grammar.

There are several quizzes in the Members Section. You might want to try them.

I guess I pushed 'seek' aside because you posted a question, so, you were asking. Sure, you were seeking information and a part of that search was posting the question. Am I excused? :)

'...from the sentence above?...'

One question, why can't I use SEEK from the setence above?

This sentence?
  • But the reason I post this is to seek ask for help.

You used two verbs that were, in a sense, competing with each other. One can either seek help or ask for help. Since you were asking a question, ask for help seems to be the logical choice. Of course, the desired result is the same in either case.

Ok, now there are two "were" vote one one "was" vote. So which one is it really? And why is it?

One this one, I voted for the plural because we are thinking about people here. ;-)
