1. I want to be a doctor and a musician.
2. I want to be a doctor and musician.
3. I want to be a singer and an actor.
4. I want to be a singer and actor.

In written English, is it correct to use ellipsis as in sentences 2 and 4 i.e leave out "a" and "an" before musician and actor?

Thanks.

Yes, though the first sounds slightly odd to me without the article as they are such different jobs.
