Hello, dear teachers!

I have this conversation, probably awkward, still understandable (or so I hope):

Doorbell ringing, then:

- Hello Filip! What a surprise to see you in my place! What can I owe your visit to?
- Hello Anthony! I was traveling to Newcastle, and on the way, as I was near your place, decided to come to your place and visit you.

What I need help in, and why I turn to you, dear teachers, is to make this conversation sound natural English.

It's meant to be highly conversational, so you'd have to ask for natural Cockney, natural Manchester, Natural California, or some other locale. If I write what would sound natural here, some people in other places would provide different variants:

Hey, Philip! What a surprise! To what do I owe the pleasure?
Hi, Tony. I was on my way to Newcastle, and was in the neighbourhood, so I decided to drop by.

- Hi, Filip. What a pleasant surprise. What brings you here?
- Hi, Anthony. I had to go to Newcastle and, as you were almost on the way, I thought I'd pop in.
