Dear Friends,

Which of the following is the better choice:

Most school-leavers are unsure about where to go on to university. I was too.


OR

Most school-leavers are unsure about where to go on to university. Me too.

Meaning: I was also unsure when I was a school-leaver.

If you are talking about yourself in the past, use "I was too". If you use "me too", you are saying that you are unsure now, in the present.
