idioms-An expression whose meanings cannot be inferred from the meanings of the words that make*it up

phrasal verbs-An expression whose meanings cannot be inferred from the meanings of the words that make*it up------- eg: how many turned out to vote?

Proverbs-A condensed but memorable saying embodying some important fact of experience that is taken as true by many people

Sayings- A word or phrase that particular people use in*particular situations
