hello teachers

I just need an explanation for the following :

I remember with afection the splended Galsgow
"Blue Train" which gave odded bonus for a driver's
eye view

what is meant by odded bonus for a driver's eye
view ?

I think what's meant is "added bonus", though out of context, it's kind of hard to tell exaclty what it means.

I think the phrase should be the added bonus of a driver's eye view. That wording does, I believe, make it clear what is meant.
