I am doing a paper on Idioms and Second language acquisition. I looked for articles on " the hierarchy of idioms" and "political/educational idioms " on the internet but I did not find anything. Could you please help me. Thanking you in advance. 8)

As far as I know, idioms do not have a hierarchy. Also, I have never heard of political or educational idioms. (I suppose you could say that some sayings or proverbs are meant to be educational, but you wouldn't necessarily classify them as idioms.) Is this about an assignment?

:)
