Hello teachers,
Greetings!
In the following sentence, is the second part OK as it is, or should the verb be in future tense (will feel)?
As in the rest of society, if the focus is on the most intelligent, the most gifted, the wealthiest, the most attractive, or the strongest, then most people feel marginalized; but if those with disabilities are especially honoured and befriended, all the others can still have appropriate respect while also contributing to a community of love, gentleness, and compassion.
Thank you very much.
