If I find the other person good and in need of something, I’ll take step to help him without me being asked, and if they find it helpful and are willing to receive, I’ll continue, otherwise I’ll stop.

I find it above sentence some what cluttery and verbose. I am also not sure if the commas are not over used. Please help me correct the above sentence.

It is overly wordy, certainly. I'd write:

If a good person needs something, I'll help them without being asked. If they appreciate my help, I'll carry on. If not, I'll stop.
