If I were the manager of an company and I were offered gifts (just to flatter or pander me), I would not accept those gifts and also kick the person out of the company who had done that.

Could you please check my sentences? Can we use "Had done" like this while imagining a situation?

Actually I was asking about the "Had done" being used in hypothetical sentences. Like "If he was the person who had done that before I would fire him. But he never did it before."
