You should express it as "If it were true, I would create something". Some people would say it as "If it was true, I ...."

JustAlilBit, I am a bit confused. Why ask for our help in correcting your English, if you feel it doesn't matter?

I will stick to what emsr said. Therefore, emsr's lessons are taken for granted.
I agree that neither would look good in formal writing. Personally, I always write "OK", never "okay" but I can't give you a good reason why I do that.
