Hello teachers and other members,

could you please proofread the following sentences and tell me if there's a rule for this pattern.

1. If you could study in the UK, you must have had a lot of money (meaning you're rich)
2. If you could study in the UK, it means you must have had a lot of money
3. If you can study in the UK, you must have had a lot of money
4. If you can study in the UK, you sure must have had a lot of money.

Which sentence is the best to say that one is rich if he can go overseas for his education.

Hi.
None of them says that the person is rich. They all say that a person was rich in the past (or at least express an assumption that it was so).
