Are these sentences OK?

1: If we are recycling more and more, the earth will be a better place to live.
2: If we are recycling more and more, the earth will be a better place to live on.

1. Number your examples for easy reference by responders.
2. The first word of a sentence must have a capital letter.
3. You should always use the simplest form of your verb that can be appropriate. Simple present will work nicely in this case.
4. Now to answer your question: We are not imagining living on some other planet, so we needn't use on.

I suggest: If we recycle more and more, the earth will be a better place to live.

I did all you had stated. Thanks for correcting me J&K Tutoring.
Now to answer your question: We are not imagining living on some other planet, so we needn't use on.
Actually the first sentence written by myself while the second one suggested by my teacher. He said my sentence needed to add "on".
Anyway, I thought we can only use "more and more" in progressive tense. Thanks for such help.

With respect to him, I disagree with your teacher, unless we are thinking beyond our own planet and comparing with others. But then we would have to drop the and capitalize Earth.

If we recycle more and more, Earth will be a better place to live (as opposed to Mars).
