The answer is d, but I think in comparison with, not to

Sorry belly....

"John is very lazy in comparison to the other students" is correct. This is because when you make this statement it is assumed that you are comparing John to each of the other students individually.

But according to Oxford dictionary, the idiom is in comparision with?
