Is there a difference between:

1-I have worked in this room for the last three hours.
2-I have worked in this room in the last three hours.
3-I have worked in this room during the last three hours.

(It seems to me that in 2&3, I have not necessarily worked there for the whole of the 3 hours, although that might have beem the case.)

Your analysis is correct. The first sentence means that the person worked there the entire time. The other two sentences mean that the person worked there at some time during that time span.
