I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct. I am not sure about the second part of my sentence after "him." I was not sure what punctuation to use and used a comma, but I am not sure if that is correct.

In his memoirs the famous actor dispels the myth of a caring and kind husband and reveals the dark side of him, as the jealous bully who terrorised all his family.
