Hello everyone,
I recently made a test on the conditionals for my pupils. It was a basic fill-in-the-blanks test but upon re-reading it, there was one thing I wasn't quite sure of.
"If I had passed the test, I would have got an "A" in the class."
Is this correct? Do you get an "A" IN or FOR a class?
I've tried to look it up, but I haven't really found a clear answer anywhere so I was hoping someone here could help.
Many thanks in advance, this one has got me really confused!
PS: don't know if it matters for this specific problem, but I teach British English.
