Hi,

May I know do we say provide training on handwashing or in handwashing?

How about training in Maths or on Maths?

Do we say in the bus/train/plane/car or on?

Use "training in".

I'd say "in" the car, but "on" for the others.

You always train someone "in" something, or "in how to do" something.

For transport: in the car, on the train, on the bus, on the coach, on the bus, on the boat, on the ship, on a motorbike, on a scooter, on a bicycle, on rollerskates, on a skateboard. Yes, car is an anomaly. It's the only one that we refer to as "in".
