I am wondering if I can write the sentence as in both (a) and (b).

(a) In spite of his denial, I am not convinced that he did not reveal the secret to Bob.

(b) In spite of his denial in revealing the secret to Bob, I was not convinced.

I don't know if there are grammar errors in (a) and (b).

Thank you.

Change 'in revealing' to 'of revealing' in (b) and they will both be OK.
