Would it make sense to say ''The patient has the right to credible information from the provider of medical services'' to mean that they have the right to obtain such information from the provider?

Note the correct spelling of "patient". Also, consider using "from the medical-services provider" instead of "provider of medical services" in your text.

I didn't. I understood the title to mean Can I use "Information from" in place of "to obtain information from"? Or, can I substitute one for the other?
