interested in "get interested"

Hello everybody,

I need some help of course.If I'm ,for example, watching TV and some report or similar has attracted my attention ,what would be the most natural way to express the fact that the report make me interested in it,i.e attracted my attention.I would like if someone would give possible phrasal verbs or idiomatic expressions to use in the given situation. Besides, I don't want to exaggerate like " it's made me all ears" (if its possible at all to say that something made somebody all ears),or something similar,but usual,neutral expressions which would show that I've got interested in it.

Thanks Anglika. I have been looking and I've found also " ..grabbed my attention.." which is probably more informal. Anyway,it seems that the expression with " got/caught/grabbed + my attention " is the most common expression in this situation, am I right?

What do you mean about the following expressions:

to attract, to arrest, to capture, to command, to draw, to hold, to retain, to rivet smb's attention

or to pay attention to = give heed = attend = give ear

to devote my attention to

to focus my attention on
