It seems that people who had registered with the forum before I made some recent changes have been experiencing this problem. Unfortunately, the solution is rather complex.
The problem occurs because of the way the forum uses cookies to store your log-in details. It is an issue with many sites using this brand of forum software.
Here's what you need to do...
For the following I shall assume you are using Internet Explorer, although there should be parallel ways of doing this in other browsers.
These phpBB forums store login information on your computer by using cookies. I've recently made some changes to how the cookies are stored, and as a consequence you may need to delete your old cookies from your system before the new settings take place.
Basic Method:
This will delete all cookies from your computer and reset a number of auto-login type features of any sites you visit (like Delphi login info).
Advanced Method:
This will allow you to delete only content from usingenglish.com
Once this is done, you can log back into the forum - just make sure you tick the box to Log me on automatically each visit.
Hope that helps.

- Now click on View Files
- Within the list of files presented you need to delete a specific cookie from usingenglish.com. My cookie is called forum and it has the internet address adamk@www.usingenglish.com/forum/.
Once this is done, you can log back into the forum - just make sure you tick the box to Log me on automatically each visit.
