is it appropriate explanation? (owned by "the company's name" )

Hi all

I have one quick question. One of colleague trys to distinguish two different equipments.

One is belong to the company, and one is owned by the colleague.

Thus, he wanna put the word to be distinguished.

I think above explanation does make a sense, but I also belive that I need to use better explanation which make a sense for the English speaker without a confusion.

I appreciate your help.

They are called labels. Perhaps you can label the equipments this way:

owned by: xxx Co./Mr xxx
or
owner : xxx
or
this property belongs to xxx

not a teacher
