Is it correct grammar to say "You should of received it by now." I don't think so, but a colleague disagrees. Please help settle this for me.

Thank you!

Is it correct grammar to say: is our children learning?

Is there such a thing as intransitive plural subjunctive tense?

Thank you.

Written form:
a) should have (OK)
b) should of (Not OK)

Spoken form:
a) should have (OK)
b) should [Uv] (OK)

Note, I've used the symbol U to represent the sound of "u" in up. Speakers often reduce the word 'have' to 'ave', giving [Uv]. [Uv] sounds like "of" and the reason why *should of is a common spelling error.

All the best, :D
