We have discussed about this topic earlier in the below given post:

It sounds okay but could be said better.

"I am still writing unclear statements, which conveys to my reader false idea of what I mean."

Note: Please use proper English words and capitalize when required.

Experts, any explanation of that sentence format would be much appreciated. I know it is correct, but unable to explain. :-?

some tips for you:
- try not to use 'that' to start a sentence. It is not wrong but not common and can be tricky
- if your sentence does not sound clear to you, it will not sound clear to others.
- keep sentences simple and you are less likely to make mistakes

I am still writing unclear statements which tend to convey the wrong messages to my readers.
(If the reader gets a different message from what you mean, it is the wrong message)

Thank you for the very challenging sentence. There is no better way to learn to write in English than to try to express such complicated thoughts yourself.

At first glance I thought that this was a "sentence fragment" and not a true sentence. This often happens when we begin with a word such as "that."

When I looked at it again, however, I came to the conclusion that you simply used the plural form of "pass." If you were to make it singular it would become:

"That I am still writing unclear statements therefore passes to my reader false idea of what i mean"

The singular form "passes" matches the singular character of the subject phrase "That I am still writing unclear statements..."

Now, I would change a few other elements of the sentence as follows:

"That I am still writing unclear statements [STRIKE]therefore[/STRIKE] passes [conveys] to my reader a false idea of what I mean."

Next, however, I would suggest that you look at your sentence again and try to simplify it. What, in essence, are you trying to say? You might say it as follows:

"I still write statements that are not clear. As a result, my readers often get the wrong idea of what I am trying to say."

Or, even more simply:
"I still write statements that are not clear, thus confusing my readers."

There may be more elegant ways to say this, but I would suggest that you keep things as simple as you can when you are learning to write in English. And be careful about your punctuation!

With practice you will advance rapidly and your correspondents will always understand you! I hope you will continue to post in this forum.
