Hi,my dear friends and teachers,I am desperate for your help.
I came across such a sentence:

His uncle's letter called up him of those old good days when they lived together in the small village.

As far as I know, we often use " call up sth " to mean" recall sth " or "remind sb of sth" to mean " cause sb to recall sth".Can we use " call up sb of sth " to express the same meaning? Is this sentence acceptable?
