Hi, dear experts I'll be very grateful if you could tell if the following text sound OK in English:
"We are living in a world which is being increasingly globalized and people from different cultures are bound to interact constantly. Though, it is not necessarily that their cultures lose their uniqueness. The similarities are only on a surface level –following of fashion trends, drinking of Coca Cola and that kind of thing. The values and behaviour do not change easily and significant differences are not to be expected at least for centuries ahead. Since understanding of foreign cultures is the key to the success of any intercultural enterprise, it is absolutely necessary that we should not only know ourselves well, but also be aware of the way we differ from the others. Then we should decide whether we can follow a standard or learn to live with the differences".
